Sepsis can be hard to recognise, so trust your gut instinct .
If you spot any of the signs or are concerned call 111 or go to Emergency and just ask: “Could it be sepsis?”

Mental Health Support

Your GP may be able to arrange free counselling for you through your PHO.  

There are also other organisations that offer free counselling.  Check with your local Citizen Advice Bureau.

Mobility Aids

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora provides Disability Support Services (DSS) to disabled people and their whānau. These services aim to support disabled people to live good lives, with a focus on choice, rights, culture, dignity, and learning. Services include needs assessment, residential support, vocational assistance, respite care, and specialized support. They also provide equipment and modification services.  Talk to your GP or contact your Needs Assessment and Service Co-ordination (NASC) at your local hospital.
