Sepsis can be hard to recognise, so trust your gut instinct .
If you spot any of the signs or are concerned call 111 or go to Emergency and just ask: “Could it be sepsis?”

If you are concerned because either you or a loved one is unwell please:

  1. Read the signs and symptoms of sepsis and what action to take on this website

  2. Call Healthline on 0800 611 116 for health advice, information, and guidance, or 

  3. If you have serious concern and feel like the illness is getting worse call 111 for an ambulance or if quicker immediately attend to your closest Emergency Department.

 Remember to always ask….”could it be sepsis?” when discussing your concerns with any healthcare professional.
